Skedzu Subscription and Billing Terms
These Subscription and Billing Terms (the "Billing Terms") govern the pricing, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund of paid plans and purchases available through Skedzu, operated by Collier Wilson Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company d/b/a Skedzu ("Skedzu," "we," or "our").
Introduction
These Billing Terms are incorporated into and form part of the Skedzu Terms and Conditions at skedzu.ai/terms (the "Terms"). By purchasing a subscription, credit pack, or the Pioneer Pass, you agree to these Billing Terms in addition to the Terms.
Where these Billing Terms and the Terms address the same subject matter, these Billing Terms govern with respect to billing-specific issues.
If any provision of these Billing Terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, those laws apply to the extent required.
SECTION 1 - AVAILABLE PLANS AND PURCHASES
Skedzu’s current plans, pricing, available features, and purchase options are described on skedzu.ai. Available offerings may include free access, monthly subscriptions, one-time credit packs, and the Pioneer Pass. Plans, features, and pricing are subject to change at Skedzu’s discretion. The Pioneer Pass is governed by a separate Pioneer Pass Agreement available at skedzu.ai/pioneerpass.
SECTION 2 - SIGNUP AND CHECKOUT DISCLOSURES
At the time of any subscription signup or purchase, you will be presented with the information required by applicable law, which may include the plan name, price, billing frequency, and method of cancellation. For subscriptions activated in jurisdictions that require it (including California under Business & Professions Code Section 17600 et seq.), you will receive an acknowledgment confirming the terms of automatic renewal.
SECTION 3 - AUTOMATIC RENEWAL OF SUBSCRIPTIONS
3.1 Renewal Terms. Monthly Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle for successive one-month periods. The renewal charge will equal the then-current published price of your plan, plus applicable taxes, and will be charged to the payment method on file.
3.2 Failure of Payment. If a scheduled renewal charge fails (for example, due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or authorization decline), we will notify you and attempt to collect the charge over a reasonable retry period. If payment cannot be collected within that period, your subscription will be downgraded to the free tier, and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved. Content and account data are not deleted upon payment failure.
3.3 Cancellation Before Renewal. You may cancel your subscription at any time before the automatic renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle. Cancellations made after the renewal charge has been processed apply to the subsequent billing cycle.
SECTION 4 - CANCELLATION
4.1 How to Cancel. You may cancel any Monthly Subscription at any time through the billing settings in your account. The cancellation process is available in a self-service format and requires no more effort than the process to sign up.
Skedzu does not require phone calls, chat sessions, retention offers, or any other intermediary step to cancel a subscription.
4.2 Effect of Cancellation. Cancellation of a Monthly Subscription becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle. You retain full access to the paid features through the end of the cycle you have already paid for. No further charges will be made following the effective date of cancellation.
4.3 Access to Data After Cancellation. Following cancellation of a subscription, your account reverts to the free tier. Your existing content and data remain accessible unless you separately choose to delete your account.
4.4 Cancellation of Free Trial Period. The 30-day AI test drive is not a "free trial" that converts to a paid subscription unless you actively purchase a subscription or Pay As You Go credits. No payment method is required to activate the AI test drive, and no automatic charge occurs at the end of the 30-day period.
SECTION 5 - REFUNDS
5.1 General Refund Policy. Except as required by law, Monthly Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. Pay As You Go credit purchases are also non-refundable once charged. Pioneer Pass refunds are governed by the Pioneer Pass Agreement.
5.2 Refunds Following Cancellation. Cancellation of a Monthly Subscription stops future billing but does not generate a refund of the current billing cycle. You retain access through the end of the cycle for which you have paid.
5.3 Statutory Consumer Rights.
European Union and European Economic Area. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). However, this right is waived once performance of the digital service has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. By accessing paid features of the Services immediately upon purchase, you provide such consent and acknowledgment.
United Kingdom. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cancellation right for digital services, subject to the same waiver upon commencement of performance with your consent.
Other Jurisdictions. Where any other applicable law grants you a mandatory refund or withdrawal right, those rights apply and prevail over the non-refundability provisions of this Section 5 to the extent required.
5.4 Refunds in Exceptional Circumstances. Skedzu may, in its discretion, issue refunds outside of the standard policy in exceptional circumstances, including material service outages, billing errors, unauthorized charges, or other equitable grounds. Refund requests may be submitted to billing@skedzu.ai.
5.5 Disputed Charges. If you believe a charge on your account is incorrect, please contact billing@skedzu.ai before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Most billing disputes can be resolved directly and more quickly than through the chargeback process.
SECTION 6 - PRICE CHANGES
6.1 Notice of Price Changes. If Skedzu changes the price of a Monthly Subscription plan, we will notify affected subscribers by email within the notice period required by applicable law (for subscribers in California, no less than seven (7) and no more than thirty (30) days before the change takes effect). The notice will identify the new price, the effective date, and instructions for cancellation.
6.2 Price Changes Apply Prospectively. Any price change applies only to billing cycles that begin on or after the effective date. Amounts already paid for the current billing cycle are not adjusted.
6.3 Right to Cancel Before Price Change. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date of the change. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6.4 Pay As You Go and Pioneer Pass Prices. The price of a Pay As You Go credit pack is fixed at the time of each individual purchase and is not subject to change after the purchase is complete. The Pioneer Pass is a one-time purchase and its price is fixed at the time of purchase.
SECTION 7 - PAYMENT METHODS AND PROCESSING
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, which may include Stripe, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store. The payment methods and processors available to you depend on how you access and purchase Skedzu, as described on skedzu.ai. Skedzu retains only the limited billing information required by applicable law and permitted by our third-party payment processors.
By providing a payment method, you authorize Skedzu (through the applicable payment processor) to charge that payment method for any applicable fees, purchases, and taxes until you cancel the purchase or remove the payment method.
You may update or remove your payment method at any time through your account settings or through the applicable third-party processor.
SECTION 8 - TAXES AND SIMILAR CHARGES
8.1 Taxes. The prices displayed on the Skedzu website do not include applicable taxes unless expressly stated. Skedzu will add sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other applicable taxes at checkout based on your billing address and the requirements of your jurisdiction.
8.2 Tax Responsibility. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges imposed by any taxing authority in connection with your purchase, other than taxes based on Skedzu's net income.
SECTION 9 - AI CREDITS
AI credits are a unit of measurement that Skedzu uses to meter usage of AI-assisted features. Credit allocation, consumption rates, expiration, rollover, and order of consumption rules for each plan or purchase are as described on skedzu.ai and in your account settings, and may be adjusted by Skedzu from time to time. Credits are not currency, have no cash value outside of Skedzu, and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred to another user, or refunded (except as required by law).
SECTION 10 - SPECIAL RULES FOR THE FREE AI TEST DRIVE
The 30-day AI test drive is activated automatically for new accounts, without requiring a payment method. The duration of the test drive and any applicable credit allocation are as described on skedzu.ai and may be adjusted by Skedzu from time to time.
The AI test drive does not convert automatically into a paid subscription. You will not be charged at the end of the AI test drive unless you actively purchase a subscription or credit pack.
After the AI test drive expires, the browser canvas and other free features remain available at no cost. Access to additional features is as described on skedzu.ai.
SECTION 11 - CHANGES TO PLANS AND FEATURES
11.1 Feature Changes. Skedzu may add, modify, or discontinue features of any plan from time to time. Where required by applicable law, Skedzu will provide notice of a change that materially reduces the functionality of an active paid subscription.
11.2 Plan Discontinuation. If Skedzu discontinues a plan, we will provide affected subscribers with reasonable advance notice.
11.3 Service Discontinuation. If Skedzu discontinues the Services entirely, we will provide affected users with reasonable advance notice. Pioneer Pass holders' rights upon service discontinuation are governed by the Pioneer Pass Agreement.
SECTION 12 - SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
12.1 Suspension for Non-Payment. Skedzu may suspend access to paid features if a scheduled charge fails and is not resolved within the retry period described in Section 3.2. Free-tier features may remain available during suspension, at Skedzu’s sole discretion.
12.2 Termination for Violation. Skedzu may terminate a subscription immediately for violation of the Terms, including violation of the Acceptable Use provisions. Where a subscription is terminated for cause, no refund is provided for the current billing cycle.
12.3 Voluntary Termination by User. You may terminate your subscription voluntarily at any time as described in Section 4.
SECTION 13 - BILLING DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
13.1 Direct Resolution Encouraged. If you believe there is an error on your bill or you have not been provided the service you paid for, please contact billing@skedzu.ai.
13.2 Chargebacks. Filing a chargeback with your card issuer without first contacting Skedzu may result in suspension of your account pending resolution of the dispute. Chargebacks found to be without merit may result in Skedzu recovering the disputed amount plus reasonable administrative costs.
13.3 Cooperation. In the event of a chargeback, you agree to cooperate in good faith to resolve the dispute, including by providing information to Skedzu, the applicable payment processor, and your card issuer as reasonably requested.
SECTION 14 - REGIONAL AND JURISDICTIONAL NOTICES
14.1 California Residents. In compliance with the California Automatic Renewal Law (Business & Professions Code §17600 et seq.): (i) The automatic renewal terms of Monthly Subscriptions are disclosed clearly at signup and in your account settings; (ii) You provided affirmative consent to automatic renewal by completing the subscription signup process; (iii) You may cancel your subscription online at any time through the billing settings in your account; and (iv) You will receive an acknowledgment of these terms in the manner required by that law.
14.2 European Union and European Economic Area. Consumers resident in the EU or EEA are entitled to the statutory withdrawal and refund rights described in Section 5.3. VAT is applied at the applicable rate for your country of residence.
14.3 United Kingdom. Consumers resident in the UK are entitled to the statutory cancellation rights described in Section 5.3. VAT is applied at the applicable UK rate.
14.4 Other US States with Automatic Renewal Laws. Where the automatic renewal or consumer protection law of your state of residence grants you rights in addition to those described in these Billing Terms, those rights apply to the extent required by that law.
SECTION 15 - CHANGES TO THESE BILLING TERMS
Skedzu may update these Billing Terms from time to time. For material changes affecting active subscribers or purchasers, we will provide notice by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The “Effective” date at the top of these Billing Terms identifies the current version.
Continued use of paid features after the effective date of updated Billing Terms constitutes acceptance. Subscribers who do not accept updated Billing Terms may cancel their subscription before the effective date.
